Our bottlesaren’t hiding.A short storyabout why yours were.
Every product in your kitchen started on a shelf, with a label, and a story. Most of those stories ended in a cabinet. This is ours — and the version we’re trying to write instead.
Every cleaner you’ve ever owned started as somebody’s favourite bottle. Then the scent got louder, the label got pinker, and somebody decided it didn’t belong on the counter — so it went to live with the sponges.
That’s not a coincidence. The drugstore aisle trained an entire generation of adults to apologise for the products that keep their kitchens running. A bottle that smells like a hotel lobby, with a soft enough label to slip behind a drawer. We’ve peeked inside the cabinet. We’ve lived inside the cabinet.
House Hoe is built on the opposite instinct. Quieter labels. Honest scent. Bottles designed to stand on the counter where the lemon spray used to live — and to look like they meant to be there in the first place.

— Nothing behind the sponges.
The opposite instinct, in three short notes.
We don’t do a tag-line for the brand. We do three notes from the matriarch, signed in the same pen, then a ledger on the back of the bottle we’ll never redact.
“We strip the water out so you’re not paying to ship a fight against your own sink.”
House Matriarch
“A bottle is a shelf negotiation. Ours arrive on the counter, not behind the sponges.”
House Matriarch
“No fake-fresh theatre. If it smells like a hotel lobby, we left it on the bench.”

What a House Hoe bottle owes you, in writing.
- Concentrate over dilute. One bottle = twenty floors of Mop Hoe.
- Boutique-grade ingredients, no fillers, no thickeners, no optical brighteners.
- A quiet label: type you can actually read at arm’s length.
- Three launch scents, named for what they smell like, not for what they should aspire to.
- A real ingredient list on the back. Not a footnote. Not a riddle.
— No fillers · No optical brighteners · No apology
The first Hoe is a 500 ml floor wash. Of course it is.
The kitchen is where the cabinet started — and where the cabinet ends. Mop Hoe is concentrate, not dilute; the first bottle we ship is the bottle we’d hand a friend. If she doesn’t laugh, we’ve missed the point.
- What it is— a 500 ml concentrate floor wash. Dilute at the cap. One bottle covers twenty full mops.
- Why it’s first— it earns the debut because we’ve been using it under someone else’s sink for years and it never hid behind the sponges.
- What ship it represents — matte raspberry glass, cream label, gold hairline, three launch scents, giftable on the first try.
